SSC photo and signature resizer
The Staff Selection Commission asks for a photo of 20–50 KB in JPG at about 3.5 × 4.5 cm (we export 413 × 531 px) and a signature of 10–20 KB at 4.0 × 2.0 cm (472 × 236 px). Upload your picture, place the crop, and download a file already inside both limits.
How to use the tool

Keep SSC selected
The SSC preset is loaded. Switch between the Photo and Signature tabs at the top of the tool.

Upload a clear photo
Use a front-facing photo without a cap or sunglasses, against a plain light wall.

Line up the face
Drag the picture until your face sits inside the dotted outline, then adjust the zoom.

Download both files
Save ssc-photo.jpg and ssc-signature.jpg and upload them on ssc.gov.in.

What is the photo size for SSC in KB?
SSC asks for a JPG photo between 20 KB and 50 KB, about 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm tall. The tool keeps the file inside that range automatically.
What is the SSC signature size?
The signature should be a JPG of 10–20 KB, roughly 4.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high. Sign on white paper with a dark pen before photographing it.
Does SSC still need an uploaded photo?
In the new One-Time Registration, SSC captures a live photo using your webcam or phone camera. Some SSC forms and corrections still ask for an uploaded photo, so read your notice to see which applies.
Why does the SSC site reject my photo?
The usual reasons are a file outside 20–50 KB, a PNG instead of a JPG, or a blurred or dark picture. Files made here are JPG and inside the limit, so check sharpness and lighting.
