How do I convert cm to pixels?
Pixels = cm ÷ 2.54 × DPI. For example, 3.5 × 4.5 cm at 300 DPI is 413 × 531 pixels. Choose the cm / inch mode and the tool does this for you.
Does it really save 300 DPI in the file?
Yes. For JPG the DPI is written into the JFIF header and for PNG into the pHYs chunk, so Windows, Photoshop and online checkers show the DPI you chose.
What does keep proportions do?
It changes the height automatically when you type a width, so the photo isn’t stretched. Turn it off to set both sides yourself.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much larger than the original can look soft, because no new detail can be added.
Can I resize many photos to the same size?
Yes. Add several photos: with keep proportions on, each gets the width you typed and its own height; with it off, all get exactly the same size.
