Track QR code scans
and link clicks

Every QRScanKaro code is dynamic, so a scan passes through your page before the visitor sees your buttons, and that visit is counted. Your dashboard shows how many people scanned and when, roughly where they were and what phone they used, and which of your links they tapped next. Short links you create get their own click report.

What you can track

Scans by day

A daily chart for the dates you pick, next to the all-time scan total.

Cities and countries

An approximate location looked up from the network, listed as top cities and countries.

Device, OS and browser

Mobile, tablet or desktop; Android, iOS or Windows; and the browser used.

Clicks per button

Every button is counted separately, so you see whether people want the menu, WhatsApp or UPI.

Short-link clicks

Each short link has its own stats: clicks by day, city, device and the site that referred the visitor.

CSV export (Business)

Download every scan and click, with time, link, device, city and referrer, as a spreadsheet.

How far back you can look depends on your plan: Free shows the last 7 days, and Pro and Business show your full history. Scans are recorded on every plan, so upgrading opens up the older data too.

Start tracking in three steps

  1. 1Create a dynamic QR page or a short link
  2. 2Print or share it as you normally would
  3. 3Open Analytics to see scans and clicks

Frequently asked questions

How do I track QR code scans?

Create the QR code with QRScanKaro instead of a static generator. Because the code opens your QRScanKaro page, every scan is logged. In the dashboard, open the page and choose Analytics to see scans by day, city, device and more.

Can I see which link was clicked?

Yes. Each button on your page is counted on its own, and the report lists your links from most to least tapped. A button you have since deleted still appears as "(deleted link)" for the days it was used.

Is QR code tracking privacy-friendly?

We keep only what the report needs: the time, device type, operating system, browser, an approximate city and country, and the referring site. The IP address is used for a moment to look up the city and to skip repeat scans, and is never saved. Visitors do not need to sign in.

Do repeat scans and link previews count?

A second scan from the same visitor within about 30 seconds is ignored, so a double tap or a refresh does not inflate the numbers. Link previews made by WhatsApp, Telegram and search engine bots are not counted either.

How far back can I see my QR code analytics?

Free accounts see the last 7 days and paid plans see your full history. The data is kept either way, so if you upgrade later, older scans appear in your reports.

Can I track a QR code that is already printed?

Only if it is a dynamic QR code that sends people through a page or short link first. A static QR code, like the ones from the free generator, goes straight to the link inside it, so there is nothing in between that could count the scan.
