JEE Main photo and signature size
For JEE Main, NTA wants a colour photo of 10–200 KB on a white background and a signature in JPG; we keep the signature at 10–30 KB so it fits both limits NTA has used recently. The photo is exported at 413 × 531 px (3.5 × 4.5 cm) and the signature at 413 × 177 px.
How to use the tool

Open the JEE Main preset
It is already chosen on this page. The Photo tab comes first, the Signature tab second.

Take the photo on white
A colour photo against a white wall, face and ears clearly visible, no mask; regular spectacles are fine.

Adjust and check
Place your face in the outline and look at the result panel for the green size checks.

Sign and upload
Photograph your signature on white paper, crop it in the Signature tab, and download the JPG.

What is the JEE Main photo size?
A JPG of 10–200 KB, passport style, with a white background and about 80% of the frame covered by the face.
What is the JEE Main signature size in KB?
Bulletins have mentioned both 4–30 KB and 10–100 KB for the signature. We make it 10–30 KB, which satisfies either, but go by the current bulletin if it says otherwise.
Can I wear spectacles in the JEE Main photo?
Yes, if you wear them regularly. Avoid glare on the lenses and don’t wear a cap or sunglasses.
Is the same photo used for all JEE Main sessions?
Usually yes: the photo you upload stays in your application. Keep the downloaded file so you can use it again for corrections.
