Does it show formatting changes like bold or font size?
No. It compares the words. For layout differences, export both files to PDF and use Visual mode.
Can I compare Google Docs?
Yes. In Google Docs choose File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx) for both versions, then add them here.
Is there a size limit?
Documents of a few hundred pages work fine. Very long files take a little longer to compare.
Are the documents stored?
No. They are read in your browser tab and disappear when you close it.
