Why do I need an account to make a PDF QR code?
A QR code only holds a short piece of text, usually a link. It cannot contain a whole PDF, so the file has to be online for a phone to open it. Your free account stores the PDF and lets you update or remove it later.
Can I change the PDF after printing the QR code?
Yes. Click “Replace PDF” and upload the new file. The QR points to a short QRScanKaro link that never changes, so the same printed code opens the new PDF from the next scan.
How big can my PDF be?
Up to 10 MB on the Free plan, 25 MB on Pro and 50 MB on Business. Big PDFs open slowly on mobile data, so compress image-heavy files first; our free Compress PDF tool runs in your browser.
Do people need an app to open the PDF?
No. The phone camera reads the QR, and the PDF opens in the browser or the phone’s built-in PDF viewer. It works on Android and iPhone.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
Yes. Each scan is counted before the PDF opens. “View scan analytics” shows scans by day, device and city in your dashboard.
