Can you unlock a PDF if I don’t know the password?
No. This tool removes a password you already know; it does not crack or guess passwords. For restriction-only PDFs (no open password) no password is needed.
What is the password for e-Aadhaar?
The first four letters of your name as printed on the Aadhaar, in capitals, followed by your year of birth. For example, Rahul Kumar born in 1990 would use RAHU1990.
What is the password for my bank statement?
It depends on the bank. It is often your customer ID, date of birth (DDMMYYYY) or a mix of your name and birth date. The email that came with the statement usually explains it.
Why do portals reject password-protected PDFs?
Upload portals can’t open encrypted files to check them, so they ask for an unlocked copy. Unlock it here, then upload the new file.
Is it safe to enter my password here?
