Fill in your business
Name, address and GSTIN appear at the top of the quotation. Add your logo for a branded look.

Enter the customer and their state so the tax on the quote matches the future invoice.

Price the work
List items or services, group them under headings such as Materials and Labour, and set a validity date.

Send, then convert
Download the PDF for the customer. Once approved, click Convert to invoice to bill it with a fresh invoice number.

What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?
A quotation is an offer: it tells the customer what the work will cost if they accept. An invoice is the bill you issue after supplying the goods or services, and it is the document GST is charged on.
Should a quotation include GST?
If you are GST registered, showing GST on the quote avoids surprises because the customer sees the final amount. Use the Show GST switch to quote with or without tax.
How long should a quotation be valid?
Many businesses use 15 or 30 days, and shorter periods when material prices move quickly. Set the “Valid until” date and it prints on the quotation.
Estimate or quotation: which title should I use?
Both work. “Estimate” suggests an approximate price that may change, while “Quotation” usually means a fixed offer. You can switch the title under Look & type.
How does Convert to invoice work?
Sign in and save the quotation, then click Convert to invoice. The invoice generator opens with the same customer and items, today’s date and your next invoice number, and records which quotation it came from.
