How to use the tool

    Add the PDF and tap Convert to Word. Pictures and tables are rebuilt where possible.

    Open the .docx

    Open it in Microsoft Word, in Google Docs (upload it to Drive first) or in WPS Office on your phone.

    Edit the text, then fix any spacing or fonts that shifted in the conversion.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the PDF directly instead?

This site doesn’t have a PDF text editor. Converting to Word is the most reliable free way to change a PDF’s wording. To add a signature, stamp or watermark without changing the text, use Sign PDF or PDF Watermark.

Why did the fonts change?

The PDF may use fonts your device doesn’t have, or only part of a font. Word swaps in a similar one. If the text looks uneven, select everything and set a single font.

Can I change an official document this way?

Only convert documents you are allowed to edit, such as your own letters and drafts. Altering bank statements, certificates, bills or ID documents can be illegal, and the issuer can always check the original.

What about PDFs that block copying?

PDFs with only copy or print restrictions open here without a password. Convert them only if you own the document or have permission to change it.
