How to use the tool

Enter the network name
Type the Wi-Fi name (SSID) exactly as it appears in your phone’s Wi-Fi list, including capitals.

Enter the password and security
Most home and office routers use WPA/WPA2. Choose “No password” for open networks.

Hidden network?
Turn on “Hidden network” only if your router does not broadcast its name.

Print the card
Download the “Scan to connect to Wi-Fi” card and keep it at reception or on tables.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests need an app to scan a Wi-Fi QR?

No. iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and most Android phones (Android 10 and later, or Google Lens) read Wi-Fi QR codes with the built-in camera and offer to join the network.

Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code?

The QR contains the password, so anyone who scans it can join, just as if you told them. Use a separate guest network, which most routers offer, and keep the card where only customers can see it.

Is my password uploaded anywhere?

No. The QR is generated in your browser. The password is not sent to QRScanKaro or stored.

What if I change my Wi-Fi password?

The old QR stops working because the password is inside it. Make a new QR and reprint the card after changing the password.

Why won’t my phone join after scanning?

Check that the network name matches exactly (it is case-sensitive), the password is correct and the security type matches your router. For hidden networks, turn on the Hidden option.
